The Association for Arakawa International Communications (AIC) was established on October 21th,1993. AIC works in a variety of ways in cooperation with the Arakawa City Office, with the aim of creating a local area where all people, including foreign residents, can enjoy their lives in order to realize an even more vitalized local society.

●Japanese Class
A Professional instructor along with volunteers from the Association for Arakawa International Communications will teach you daily Japanese conversation.
The classes are for non-native Japanese speakers who live,work or study in Arakawa City and whose Japanese language ability is at the elementary level (Excepting students of Japanese language school)
●Japanese Salon
The classes are for non-native Japanese speakers who live,work or study in Arakawa City and whose Japanese language ability is at the advanced level
●Tea Ceremony Class
A class to learn the traditional manners and etiquette of a tea ceremony.
You can also get in touch with Japan’s traditional culture, while enjoying delicious green tea and Japanese sweets with communications between volunteers and participants.
