Chuo Cultural and International Exchange Association
Chuo Cultural and International Exchange Association (CCIEA) was established in 1991 to host cultural events which familiarize the culture and art of Chuo City and also to promote international exchange events through cooperation with our volunteers. Nowadays, various international exchange events such as Japanese language classes and International Exchange Salon, etc. are held.
●Japanese Language Classes
In order to assist foreigners who live, work, or study in Chuo City and have difficulty in communicating in Japanese, we host Japanese language classes by CCIEA's volunteer instructors and exchange events with the learners. In addition, we assist Japanese classes hosted by volunteer instructors to accommodate the increasing number of participants and diversifying needs.Website
●Internatioanl Exchange Party
This is an annual event with assistance of CCIEA's volunteers. In this event, we introduce Japanese traditional cultures such as Tea Ceremony and Flower Arrangement, foods and dances of various countries to promote mutual understanding between Japanese and non-Japanese.Website
●International Exchange Salon
With planning and management by CCIEA's volunteers, we allow you an opportunity once a month for cross-cultural communication between Japanese and non-Japanese through introducing Japanese traditional culture, cooking, sports, etc.
