Itabashi Culture and International Exchange Foundation

Group Overview
The Itabashi Culture and International Exchange Foundation (ICIEF) was established to promote internationalization in Itabashi through holding various kinds of events in which foreign and Japanese residents can increase each other’s multicultural awareness.
●Living Information for Foreign Residents of Itabashi City
We have compiled information about the various procedures and services in this “Living Information for Foreign Residents.” The systems, lifestyle customs, rights, and obligations in Japan may differ from those of your native country. Please use this guide in order to live comfortably in Itabashi.
Website●Beginners Japanese Language Classes
ICIEF holds “Beginners Japanese Language Classes” for foreigners who are beginning their study of Japanese. Classes are held twice a week on either Mon/Thu or Tues/Fri, and the content of both classes is the same. The course runs with two six-month long semesters from April-Sept and Oct-March.
Website●Disaster Prevention Guide for Foreign Residents
We have created a disaster prevention guidebook with the cooperation of our team of registered Disaster Prevention Language Volunteers to help foreign residents living in Itabashi stay safe in times of disaster. Protect yourself and the people you love by reading this guidebook and getting prepared.
