Our Foundation offers opportunities for lifelong learning program including history, culture, art, and sport not only to Shinjuku residents but also to the citizens of Tokyo in order to promote their voluntary involvement and mutual communication. ●Shinjuku City Japanese-Language Classes (SJC)

<Shinjuku City offers Japanese-language classes in which volunteers teach basic conversational Japanese for everyday living.>
We hold 12 classes in 10 places in Shinjuku City. These classes are for beginners who need to learn Japanese essential to everyday living.

●Multicultural Exchange Project , Japanese Speech Contest

We conduct various events including "Hinamaturi" for introducing Japanese culture to foreign residents. We conduct "Japanese Speech Contest" as well, so that foreign residents who have been studying Japanese can present their own perspective on Japan and their own dream for the future in front of the audience.
